I have a friend who is looking to sell his 95 white Bronco. It’s about 250k miles and needs a new transmission (it’s an Auto). I don’t know enough to give him a good selling price or the best way to sell it. I’m thinking $2-3k but I’m not sure how heavy the Bronco market is
EDIT: yes I'm serious. This isn't an OJ joke

With the transmission issues, you think that they can keep it under 45-50 mph?

It’s all over the place in my area:

Unless it's mint (-trans) 2-3k seems high. It's not old enough for the trans to be a who cares issue. Also that is pretty high mileage I imagine just about everything needs to be replaced that is made out of rubber.

Yeah, it’s not the best condition but he’s kept up with it for the most part. He just doesn’t have the tools or money to replace the transmission.
Should he ask more like $1-2k?

Yeah, I mean it is basically a parts truck with that mileage and not running ...

It runs, it just needs a new transmission and he can’t do the work or afford to have it done. I see $5-6k in my area for ones in similar condition to his but obviously don’t need a new tranny. That's why I was thinking $2-3k
